BGP's energy efficiency
is characterised by it's efficiency factor:
When BGP's efficiency factor is > 0
then treatment process is considred effective, because energy generated by biogas plant is sufficent to cover it's own needs.
When BGP's efficiency factor is < 0
then treatment process is considered expensive, because additional energy expense is required to support waste decontamination regime.
BGP's work regimes
BGP has several work regimes, each of which fits the needs of individual customer.

Description of BGP-100's work regimes
BGP's work regiem |
Terms of use |
Recommendations to improve efficiency |
Notes |
«Optimum warm medium» (OWM) -
«Optimal»: temperature -«warm», biogas generation speed -«medium».
|
Fit for regular use |
1) Lower humidity;
2)Lower loading dose;
3) Increase temperature to Т*.
|
In «OWM» regime biofertilizer with high amino acid composition remains, but disinfection of raw material is not as complete as in "OHM". Softer control of temperature than «ОНМ» (1° в час) |
«Optimum hot medium» (OHM) -
«Optimal»: temperature -«hot», biogas generation speed -«medium».
|
Fit for regular use |
1) Lower humidity;
2) Lower loading dose.
|
Higher decaying speed of raw materials, thus higher biogas generation than «OWM». Stricter temperature control than «ОWM» (0,5° в час) |
«Optimum cold medium» (ОСМ) -
«Optimal»: temperature -«cold», biogas generation speed -"slow".
|
1) As additional module durning small loads
2) «Emergency» - in case breakage/leakage of heating system
3) Used durning winter (in harsh conditions) when it is impossible to heat up to mesophilic and thermophilic temperature conditions.
|
1) Lower humidity;
2) Lower loading dose;
3) Increased temperature to Т* and М*.
|
This mode can also be used in summer conditions with low amounts of waste, when a small but consistant generation of biogas is need. It is possible to save money on heating this way. |
«Critical hot fast» (CHF) -
«Critical»: temperature -«hot», biogas generation speed -«fast».
|
1)A large area of agricultural land and arable land
2)A significant nubmer of feeding areas
3)Enterprise with significant amount of biowaste generation.
|
1)Lower humidity;
2)Lower loading doses;
3)Increase temperature to Т* and М*.
|
|
«Critical ecological warm» (CEW) -
«Critical», «ecological»: temperature -«warm».
|
High amino acid composition of biofertilizers and complete disinfection of raw materials. |
1) Lower humidity;
2)Lower loading dose.
|
Higher efficiency lowers quality of disinfection of raw materials. |
«Critical ecological hot» (СЕН) -
«Critical», «ecological»: temperature -«hot».
|
Complete disinfection of raw materials |
1) Lower humidity;
2)Lower loading dose.
|
Higher efficiency (points 1,2) пLowers quality of disinfection of raw materials.
Higher decaying speed of raw materials, thus higher biogas generation speed when compared to «CEW». |
П* - Psychrophilic mode (Temperature: 20-25 C°)
М* - Mesophilic mode (Temperature: 36-39 C°)
Т* - Thermophilic mode (Temperature: 50-55 C°)
